Place of the day, 04/15/2026, Gros Morne National Park


Do you want to walk on the Earth's mantle? I do!  The Earth's mantle is buried under 22 miles of Earth's crust.  One of the few places you can see what the mantle can look like.

Approximately 1600 miles north of Maryland, in New Foundland!

I'm prejudiced so I think any travel in China will be super crowded with lots of people really close to you, cutting of lines, and behavior i will misconstrue as rude. I know I have some of these preconceived ideas because I'm ignorant when it comes to Chinese people and their culture. Nevertheless, visiting China is the only way to go to Pandora!  James Cameron got his inspiration for the hanging mountains from the landscapes and topography in the Zhangjiajie National Park.
